Aimee’s process focuses on a human-centered approach to design and innovation, drawing inspiration from the insights and needs of the people that she is designing for.

Before co-founding Content BK, Aimee spent over a decade working within J&J Design, where she collaborated with business partners across the global organization to apply design thinking in an effort to drive transformational innovation for the heath and well-being of all who used Johnson & Johnson’s products and services.

After years of working of working on women’s health and personal care brands, Aimee had the opportunity to bring her passion and expertise to a collaborative design thinking project in Rwanda, where she led the strategy and innovation on a packaging re-invention for Sustainable Health Enterprises.

Her work has been featured in many industry publications, and she is the recipient of a number of design awards and multiple patents. Aimee earned her Bachelors of Fine Arts Degree in Communications Design from Carnegie Mellon University.

Aimee lives in Brooklyn with her family, where she can be found making homemade granola with her husband and endless arts and crafts projects with her daughter.

Jeff Silva was one of the founding designers at J&J Design where he managed iconic global brands such as Tylenol, LISTERINE, and Band-Aid. After 10 years in the consumer world he brought his expertise in building brand equity, developing product innovation, design strategy, and design thinking to a blockchain startup called ConsenSys where he served as the Brand Design Circle Creative Director. He grew the Brand Design team into the best design group within the emerging blockchain tech industry.

Concurrently, he co-founded a specialty garlic hot sauce company called Filfil Foods. It was here that he realized his passion to work within the start-up space. In addition to running Content BK, Jeff is currently the design EIR (expert in residence) at FOOD-X and dLab, two SOSV accelerator VC’s in NYC. His role is to advise the cohorts in both Food+Tech and blockchain on design and strategy as they work on building their products for market entry or scalability. He loves working with co-founders, C-suites, and the exciting startup world where he’s able to influence the next generation of innovators. 

Jeff believes that building great relationships always leads to great work. He is always looking for the next great partner and big idea that brings healthy, positive, and differentiated value to the world. In his spare time he enjoys relaxing with his two cats, friends, or reflecting on the design of his own life.
